The Motorstar Idol is an underbone cub motorcycle assembled in the Philippines. This motorcycle is one of the most inexpensive models in its category. Its local distributor and assembler, Eastworld Motor Industries Corporation, is a member of the Chamber of Assemblers and Manufacturers of Motorcycles of the Philippines (CHAMMP).
The Idol is also one of the most affordable motorcycle models (usually 20 to 30 percent cheaper) that is assembled by its Filipino automotive company. This motorcycle is usually built by assembling completely knock-down (CKD) units that come from China.
