Clearly overpriced
I was up for buying a pure electric car for a long time and considered BYD E6 as an option since a lot of people praised its features. However, I ended up buying the Hyundai Kona electric because I think Byd has overpriced the car. It costs around 4.5 million, while the Kona EV is under 3 million and also offers a better driving range. So, not buying the BYD was a good decision because if you look through, the number of electric car options in the Philippines is immense so spending that much money doesn’t make sense. Plus, I would trust the service network of Hyundai over Byd any day.
