Compared to the exterior, the interior is more on the premium side, owing to the soft, buttery leather upholstery. There is a flat central console between the driver and passenger seat with diamond-cut design. Wrapped with a silver metallic frame, it adds more depth to the overall premium look of the front cabin. The steering, on the other hand, is another exceptional design with a leather cover and red stitching. Its bottom has a flat design to complement the compact structure. The driver’s display screen measures 10.2 inches, with an additional heads-up display that looks quite funky. 

Another great addition is the 14-inch central display screen with touchscreen for easy use. The console becomes sleeker and cleaner as you move towards the passenger side. The 12 Yamaha speaker system generates decent sound to make the interior ambience lively. At the back, you will have loads of legroom, even if the front seat is at the lowest setting. Gac has brought forth a concept car on the road successfully through the all-new Emkoo model in the Philippines. Starting with its front fascia, there sits a distinctive grille with diamond-cut design philosophy. One glance and you will witness a different level of sharpness and clarity in the Chevron grille lines that seem to converge around the car’s number plate, forming a V-shaped structure. The coolest feature that needs to be highlighted here is the sharp and sleek daytime running lights. Guarded by another row of narrow LED headlamp, the front face is all enigmatic and adds a lot of character to the overall design. 

The diamond-cut design philosophy continues on the side profile, as can be seen from the sharp crease along the bottom rail. Here, the line rises up towards the rear end till it meets the rear light for a unique look. Additionally, you can find a subtle crease line on the middle, which indeed is visible from afar. What makes the sides more interesting is the high sharp crease along the belt line. Also, the window frame cinches towards the rear end to match the sharp, angular profile of the entire model. 

At the rear end, the sharp running lights are positioned at an angle with one another to create a marvelous look. Also, the diffusers here are chunky but stylish indeed. Another feature to consider is the futuristic rear spoiler with braking elements that look outstanding. 

Flanked by 18-inch wheels with diamond-cut offset segments, the Gac Emkoo model offers an outstanding riding experience. Coming to the steering, you will have maximum control over its tilt and height, thanks to the adaptive telescopic arm. The MacPherson Strut suspension at the front reduces the vibrations and prevent them from traversing through the chassis. Also, the rear end is equipped with a multi-link suspension for additional comfort during every ride. 

Sitting right at the heart of the car is a 1.5 L gasoline engine with four cylinders for enhanced performance and reduced weight. It generates a total power of 177 hp at 5500 rpm and torque of 270 Nm at 4500 rpm max. The fuel consumption is pretty decent considering the price point as it is rated at 16.1 Kmpl. Thanks to the dual-clutch transmission system and 7-speed gearbox configuration, driving the Emkoo on different terrains won’t be a problem now.

Powered by disc brake, the Gac Emkoo model guarantees maximum on-road safety, regardless of the drive speed. It also offers a great deal of control over the stopping distance, with instantaneous braking response. Additionally, the car comes equipped with numerous safety and security features, including adaptive cruise control, automatic climate control, anti-theft alarm, engine immobilizer, brake assist, crash sensor, and rear cameras.
