The dashboard is dominated by an innovative dual-screen layout. A crisp six-inch digital instrument cluster sits behind the steering wheel, paired with an asymmetrical, sweeping 15.5-inch touchscreen infotainment unit connected to a multipseaker audio system. The unit gets voice and gesture control. Both units are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155. A striking 63-inch augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD) projects speed, range, and navigation data into the driver’s line of sight. The Hongqi EH7 measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,490 mm in width, and 1,915 mm in height. The car has a wheelbase of 3,000mm. The 2025 Hongqi EH7 sports a sleek, closed-off grille typical of modern electric vehicles (EVs) because there’s no internal combustion engine (ICE). The grille combines with a ‘smiling’ lower bumper. L-shaped headlights echo across Hongqi's new design scheme, complete with striking daytime running lights (DRLs) that extend into the bumper’s air intake. The car gets all-around LED lighting. The car gets purposeful low/high beam matrix headlights, height-adjustable and sculpted to resemble a bird in flight. The Hongqi EH7 gets a fastback silhouette with short overhangs. The 2025 Hongqi EH7 is mounted on an Intelligent Dynamic Chassis System (iDCS) along with self-adjusting continuous damping shock absorbers. The system automatically fine-tunes the suspension to road conditions to filter out vibration and bumps. The result is a refined and plush ride, even on varied surfaces including city routes, rural roads, and countryside lanes. The car comes with Comfort, Sport, Custom, and Snow drive modes that adjust the throttle and also the ride firmness.

The 2025 Hongqi EH7 is available in Executive and Flagship models in Philippines. The former is powered by a single motor that produces 344 PS/450 Nm. The Flagship model is hauled by an all-wheel dual-motor setup that outputs 610 PS/756  Nm. Battery pack options include 75kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) and 85kWh LFP, and 111kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) batteries. Philippines typically imports the 111kWh trim that offers a mileage of 650 km. The car offers seamless low-speed responsiveness, ideal for city traffic. But regenerative braking often feels strong out-of-the-box and that needs some time to get accustomed.

The safety equipment of the 2025 Hongqi EH7 combines advanced cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and radar modules. High-resolution surround cameras offer a clear 360-degree vision, practically eliminating all blind spots. Forward and rear radar enhance adaptive cruise and collision avoidance. The ultrasonic sensors support low-speed parking.

The 2025 Hongqi EH7 has a starting price of ₱2.28 million. While Hongqi is yet to establish a countrywide after-sales network, the EH7 is still a compelling buy for those who want to travel in premium comfort. Being an EV, the 2025 Hongqi EH7 has extremely low running costs.
