The Kia Sportage shares just one diesel engine with its sister company Hyundai's Tucson, despite being built on the same basis. The Kia Sportage has enough ground clearance and huge 19-inch alloy wheels for a crossover of this size. This mostly provides it the much-needed threatening attitude of an SUV, but also the much-needed hauling power over terrible roads.
