Benelli 180S Design
Available in four trim options, namely red, mustard green, ash grey, and black, the 180 S from Benelli looks spectacular. The classic matte black frame looks outstanding when paired with different accent colors, thereby bringing out the strong aura one seeks in a sports bike. Going from the front, it has a modified headlamp where the LED lights form a thick peripheral border of the uniquely-shaped arrangement. Cradled between the two suspension tubes, the headlamp will illuminate the ambiance with bright white light, allowing riders to cruise along safely.
The rear end comes with a tailpipe and compact LED cluster with a shortened length. It adds height to the silhouette, making the bike look more powerful. Furthermore, the rear end gets a height boost due to the 810 mm seat height from the base. Benelli has added more stability to the model by increasing the wheelbase by 1345 mm. So, cruising the bike along the sharp turns with low speeds won’t be a problem anymore. On top of everything, the amber-colored TFT display makes the information cluster visually appealing and readable in low light or dark conditions.

Benelli 180S Ride & Handling
With an advanced suspension system, 180 S is known for the excellent comfort it offers to the riders. The front end is equipped with a telescopic fork, having twin shock-absorbing tubes connected directly to the chassis. Any kind of vibration starts dampening the moment the wheels roll over a non-uniform surface, thereby allowing drivers to concentrate on their journey rather than worrying about discomfort.
It also ensures the bike exhibits optimal stability at medium and high-speed ranges, which is why riders won’t feel any kind of bounciness. The rear end, however, is equipped with a Swingarm suspension. It is well-known for dampening the vibrations and ensuring the person sitting at the back can enjoy the ride without any hassle.

Benelli 180S Engine & Fuel Consumption
Benelli 180 S is known for its sporty performance on city roads and racing tracks alike. It draws power from a single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine associated with a liquid cooling system. This is one of the primary reasons why the heat wicked away faster, thereby preventing any kind of mechanical damage due to friction. Furthermore, the engine is modeled to deliver a consistent power of 17.8 hp at 9500 rpm maximum. This power automatically gets adjusted at different speed levels, allowing riders to attain maximum acceleration of more than 100 Kmph easily.
Additionally, the maximum engine torque is rated at 14 Nm at 7000 rpm, allowing riders to take sharper turns without putting a lot of pressure on the wheels. Thanks to a displacement capacity of 175.3 cc, the bike races along the city roads much faster. It has a fuel tank of 10 L, which could have been more, given the fact that the engine consumes more gasoline at higher speeds. The 180 S model is equipped with a manual transmission system having a 6-speed gear configuration for easy drives on city roads.

Benelli 180S Braking & Safety
The front and rear wheels of 180 S are equipped with 6-spoke disc brakes. Thanks to the increased diameter, the wheels exhibit a higher braking power. In other words, the bike will instantly come to a halt the moment the rider presses the brake pedal. With reduced stopping distance, riders won’t have to worry about becoming unstable due to the inertia reducing to zero suddenly.
Therefore, traveling on the busy city roads of the Philippines is hassle-free for everyone. Apart from this, the bike is equipped with side reflectors to allow riders cruise through in low light and dark conditions. The check engine light will warn people about any fault with the engine, giving them enough timeline to get the bike to a nearby workshop.

Benelli 180S Verdict
Benelli 180 S is one of the best models launched into the market so far. Not only is it a powerhouse but the reduced weight makes it easier for riders to cruise through the city roads like an eagle. Having enhanced fuel economy, the bike doesn’t make any sound at medium and high-speed ranges. So, it is certainly a worthy investment in the Philippines.
