The CB1000R is a café-racer styled motorcycle that was introduced in 2018 and is sold at a price tag of Php 865,000 in the Philippine market. At its heart, this motorcycle is powered by a 998cc, liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine that makes 144 hp of power and 104 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. In terms of features, the CB1000R is equipped with riding modes (Rain, Standard, and Sport), fully digital instrument panel, dual-channel anti-lock braking system, Honda Intelligent Security System (HISS) and LED lights on the front and back.

The Honda CB1000R is a Japanese streetfighter that adapts to the styling of a trendy neo-sports cafe design. The bike is one of the sleekest looking motorbikes in the Philippines and is a product of modern looks mated with retro styling. The bike is easily one of the meanest looking motorbikes in its segment and provides a healthy competition to some major 1000cc vehicles in its segment.
The motorbike comes with an old school headlamp that is surrounded by LED lighting. Additionally, the vehicle receives a plethora of features with mechanicals inside it. It runs on two sets of tyres to add on to the neo appeal of the bike. The 998cc engine is apt to deliver the right amount of power to cover the streets and zoom across the highways.

The exterior of the Honda CB1000R is an ode to the Japanese automakers’ naked motorcycles. The vehicle carries a circular old-school headlight but with LED enhancements to add resonate with the retro and modern appeal. The vehicle also gets an oversized tank that stands out from the crowd as it adds to the unique styling of the vehicle.
Adapting to Honda’s moniker of neo sports café, this café racer uses LED DRL around its body. The tail of this bike gets a mudguard on the tyre hugger. The vehicle presents a premium finish with its vertical aluminium radiator that blends well with the exhaust system. The overall dimensions of the Honda CB1000R stand at 2,120mm in length, 789mm in width, and 1,095mm in its height.

Suspension in the Honda CB1000R comprises of a 43mm Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Forks-Big Piston) in its front and gets a Showa BFRC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) monoshock connected via a single-sided swingarm on its rear. It uses a mono backbone steel frame that reduces the overall weight of the vehicle and helps with effective handling.

The CB1000R Plus is powered by a 999cc, DOHC liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine that gives out a maximum power output of 140 hp at an rpm reading of 10,500 besides generating a peak torque of 104 Nm. The drivetrain comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Interestingly, the long-stroke motor enables more power and torque with its low and mid-range.
The Honda CB1000R is also accompanied with a slipper clutch to initiate smooth shifts and light clutch operations. Besides the other engine functionalities, its throttle by wire makes use of Honda’s selectable torque control to initiate improved traction control.
