JMC JMH

The interior cabin of the JMC JMH is not too great to look at too and has a very functional and basic layout with a dull grey theme executed for it. However, one can stay assured of the aspect of practicality, for the various controls are easy in reach of the driver, along with many storage spaces.

The JMC JMH comes with a very basic looking driver’s cockpit comprising of a two-spoke steering wheel and an all analog instrument console behind it. The instrument console is a part of large housing, which is finished in silver theme and faces towards the driver. This housing, apart from the instrument console, also accommodates AC vents, 1-DIN audio system and AC control panels, all in the same order in a vertical fashion.

The cabin of the JMC JMH also comes with a few storage spaces in the form of dual closed glove boxes in the passenger side of the cabin as well as an open curved slot below the center console.

The first appearance of the JMC JMH might not be too great to look at, as the overall design of the truck lacks flair and modernity. However, the JMC JMH has its design executed in a well-proportioned manner, with compact dimensions making it look perfect for urban duties.

The JMC JMH has a simple-looking front end, with a tapered front windscreen, which is large and comes with curved edges at all of its four corners. There is a large blacked-out panel present below the windscreen, which has mounts for both windshield wipers as well as rearview mirrors on its corners. 

The simple apron body in the middle of the front profile has a trapezoidal-shaped panel, at the upper right corner of which comes with JMH branding. This front apron ends up with a trapezoidal-shaped grille and headlamp clusters at either ends. While the grille comes with a honeycomb pattern in its design, the headlamps too are shaped in a trapezoidal manner with tapered upper ends. The front bumper of the JMC JMH looks quite sleek and simple and comes integrated with angular shaped slim fog lamps, with open vents placed adjacent to them towards their inner edges.

The side profile of the JMC JMH boasts of a sharp crease emerging from the edges of the headlamps and runs across the width of the door panels in their middle. The side window panels of the JMC JMH come with a zig-zag plastic finish below them, which add to their design.  

Following the basic appeal of its visual aesthetics, the JMC JMH has a simple mechanical setup under the skin as well. The light-duty truck comes fitted with a leaf spring setup with shock absorbers for the suspension unit at both front and rear. The JMC JMH claims a decent load-carrying capacity of 2000 kg. The JMC JMH  also comes fitted with a full air operated service brake for halting duties.

Powering the JMC JMH is a JX493ZLQ4B  series inline four-cylinder turbocharged 2.8-liter diesel engine, which is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox, which is offered as the standard transmission option. The engine is capable of putting up 102 PS of maximum power and 220 Nm of maximum torque. 

The JMC JMH is equipped with just safety belts for the seats in the cabin in the name of safety and misses out on any other safety feature to keep the costs down.

At its price, the JMC JMH offers itself as a well-equipped and practical package that is good enough for basic urban load carrying duties, with its easy to drive nature adding to its overall appeal.
