The Urvan was initially called the Caravan when Nissan launched the vehicle back in 1973. It was initially meant to be a fleet or cargo van, but as the vehicle gained expanded use, Nissan eventually redesigned it to fit a variety of purposes. The Urvan doesn’t really have a traditional generation line, as some of its generations are still in production to this very day. The E24 in particular, has been in production since 1986. From 2001 to 2015, the E24 was produced and assembled in Nissan’s Santa Rosa City, Laguna plant. The E26, also known as the Nissan Urvan NV350, arrived on Philippine shores in June 11, 2015. It is manufactured and assembled in Japan.

Vans in general may not have the charm and excitement that sports cars and crossovers have, but in the Philippines where family and friends always come first, people carriers such as the Nissan Urvan will always have a special place.
