The Nissan Cefiro was first introduced in Japan as the A31 Cefiro. It was manufactured from 1988 to 1993, and was launched by Nissan after its local rival Toyota expanded its Mark II platform. The Nissan Cefiro A32 series debuted in August 1994 and lasted until 1998. They were sold in Europe as “Nissan Maxima QX”, while those launched in North America was called Infiniti l30.
