Hyundai is a Korean brand of automobiles that is known to produce a wide selection of passenger and commercial vehicles. Its local importer and distributor in the Philippines, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), was dubbed the fourth largest importer of vehicles in the country. In 2013, it became the third largest automaker in the nation with a market share of at least 10.4 percent.

Technology and innovation
For decades, Hyundai has been known as one of the lead developers of engine technology in the world. In 1991, the company began developing engines built with independent Korean automotive technology. In 2004, its renowned Theta engine became the first powertrain from Korea to be exported to a developed country.
In recent statements, Hyundai has revealed its production of Continuously Variable Valve Lift (CVVL) and Turbocharged Direct-injection for diesel engines. For the design of its chassis, two of the revolutionary designs they have come up include the Active Geometry Controlled Suspension (AGCS) which allows vehicles to have better steering and cornering stability, and the Variable Rack Stroke (VRS) which reduces turning radius and improves driving convenience when parking or making a u-turn.
The Hyundai Bus is a line of coaches and buses intended to transport a great number of passengers. One of its largest products is the high-decker Hyundai Universe bus which can seat more than 40 passengers. Its Noble and Luxury variants have 2- doors and are powered by an 11 liter or 12.3 liter powertrain.
The Hyundai County is a minibus that comes in a long body and standard body variants with the former being 735 mm longer. This vehicle exudes elegance thanks to its rounded edges and flush fitting surfaces that further refine its simple, clean image.
Spearheading the Korean brand’s line of coaches is the Hyundai Aerospace, an extended bus which is primarily used by tourists. This standard deck bus comes with diesel and CNG variants and has a rear wheel drivetrain.
The Hyundai Backhoe is excavating equipment meant for digging. It is also called a back actor or rear actor and has a two-part articulated arm and a digging bucket on its end.
