2018 Mazda Zoom Fest is Back On with 'Revolution 2' All-Mazda Car Show
The 2018 Mazda Zoom Fest is back on and it's happening this weekend, from July 27 to 29 at Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. The event was originally scheduled for the same venue from June 15 to 17, but due to the inclement weather forecasted that week, Bermaz Auto Philippines, Inc. (Mazda Philippines) opted to cancel the event.
The new date proved to be fortuitous for Mazda Philippines as, beside from the typical sales rally and model showcase, the event will now also host "Revolution 2," a car show that"will once again highlight the passion and dedication of Mazda car owners in personalizing their rides" for the whole day of Saturday, July 28.
"Revolution 2 will once again showcase the country’s most cared for and pristine examples of classic and modern-day Mazda cars in the country," said Robert Chan, president of Club Mazda Philippines, the organizer of this year's event. "You’ll be surprised how many Mazdas are just waiting to be showcased by their owners. Mazda fans are some of the most passionate car enthusiasts in the world and their search for the perfect look, down to the tiniest hard to find details, only show how emotionally connected they are to their rides."
Various generations of the Mazda2, the classic Mazda323 Familia, the contemporary Mazda3 and Mazda6, the all-new CX-5, and even rare examples of Mazda's rotary engine heroes, the RX-7 and RX-8, will be on hand for Mazda fans and enthusiasts to see and appreciate. The world's most popular sports car, the MX-5, will come in full force as multiple generations of the open top Roadster will likewise grace the show.
"We aim to build a growing community of car owners whose love for driving is equal to none," said Mikko David, press and customer relations manager of Bermaz Auto Philippines, the exclusive distributors of Mazda vehicles and parts in the country. “By bringing together various generations of Mazda cars and enthusiasts, along with future customers of the brand, the Revolution 2 car show in Zoom Fest will surely be a true celebration of driving.”
The 2018 Mazda Zoom Fest promises to be yet another spectacular showcase of the latest models available from the premium Japanese brand. Making its public debut is the all-new Mazda CX-9 Sport Touring seven-seater crossover which features a front-wheel drive layout while retaining the comfort and plush ride of the Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring all-wheel drive variant.
Also on display are the much coveted Mazda MX-5 Soft Top with the striking all-new Dark Cherry canopy and the latest member of the Mazda2 Premium Series line – the Titanium Flash-colored Java Edition. Complementing other exciting new variants of the refreshed Kodo: Soul of Motion-inspired lineup are big discounts of up to PHP100,000 and special gifts and prizes which await fans and customers alike who will make this weekend their time to purchase a new Mazda.
Finally, Zoom Fest will also see the public reveal of the new Mazda Collection merchandise. Designed by Jaykee Evangelista of First/We/Drive, the latest edition of Mazda collectibles features a complete line of Mazda heritage-inspired shirts, bags, hoodies and umbrellas. These will all be available to the public starting this weekend at the Zoom Fest display.
