8th PIMS: Honda Cars PH to bring all-new HR-V RS Turbo, 2023 CR-V ‘soon’

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) made quite the buzz at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) as the local arm of the Japanese carmaker previewed the all-new model of the Honda HR-V RS Turbo.

The latest iteration of the sport utility vehicle (SUV) was unveiled alongside the all-new Honda BR-V.

The all-new Honda HR-V RS Turbo’s local debut definitely made PIMS attendees wonder when will HCPI offer the sporty SUV locally.

Carmudi Philippines asked the HCPI leadership about it and we were told that it would arrive in the Philippine domestic market “soon.” We also received a similar answer when we asked them if they can give us a timeline of the arrival of the 2023 Honda CR-V (which was recently spotted in Thailand) in the country’s local dealerships.

The first batch of the updated version of Honda’s compact crossover SUV will be released in the United States (US) later this month. On that note, there’s a chance that it will reach the ASEAN market within the year.

HCPI’s execs also told Carmudi Philippines that should news about the local release dates of the all-new Honda HR-V RS Turbo and the 2023 Honda CR-V be made available, we will be one of the first few publications to know.
