Aguila Auto Glass Donates Big to Brigada Eskwela Program

Aguila Auto Glass, the leading manufacturer of aftermarket car and bus windshields in the country, joined this year's Brigada Eskwela--a nationwide initiative by the Department of Education (DepEd) that mobilizes volunteers to clean, maintain, and repair public elementary and secondary schools--in a major way.

Aside from helping out in preparing the schools for students, the glass maker also donated over 200 pieces of acrylic glass for the classrooms of General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School in Imus, Cavite. The acrylic glass will be used as plates for numbering and naming classrooms and offices.

With the donation, Aguila Auto Glass solidified its commitment to give back to the community as much as it can, stating that the company is always ready to support the education and development of the country's youth.

"We want to thank Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo National High School for allowing us to participate in their 'Brigada Eskwela'. We proudly support the growth, education & well-being of the childrens (sic)!" the company said in a Facebook post.

The turnover ceremony was attended by school administrators Lerma Pena, Elizabeth Villanueva, Marites Penaredona, Crisanta Caudal and Pampilo Cerbito Jr., as well as Aguila team glass member John Paul Desierto, who graduated from the school.
