All-new Honda Navi enters PH market

MANILA: Honda Philippines Incorporated (HPI) bolstered its lineup with the introduction of the all-new Navi to the local market.

Produced in its facility in Tanuan, Batangas, the latest offering from the Japanese motorcycle marque’s local arm is designed for today’s young and expressive generation.

Here’s what you need to know about the all-new Honda Navi.

Motorcycle specifications

Coming in as the smallest member of the Honda roster in the country, the all-new Honda Navi tapes in at:

The in-city two-wheeler comes with a unique design as while it utilizes a backbone frame and naked motorcycle aesthetics, it is still considered a scooter — making it a sound choice for first-time riders who like to stand out.

Its squarish headlamp, bare handlebars and a removable 15-liter storage box (placed below the 3.5-liter fuel tank; where standard motorcycles usually mount their engines) gave it a masculine vibe.

Propelling the all-new Honda Navi is a four-stroke, two-valve single overhead cam 109-cubic-centimeter engine with a carburetor fuel system (fitted between the rear swingarm) matched to a V-Matic transmission. The said powertrain churns:

Thanks to the Honda Eco Technology (and its gross weight of only 104 kilograms), the two-wheeler can do a 48.4 kilometers per liter fuel consumption (based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle standards).

Further, the motorcycle rides on composite wheels in tubeless tires that has the following measurements:

• Front: 90/90-12 54J
• Rear: 90/100-10 53J

Ride stability is assured by its suspension system made up of telescopic fork (with 26.8 mm of travel) and a single spring swingarm (71.12 mm of travel).

Additionally, the all-new Honda Navi can be had in any of the two pre-packaged body styles namely Tourer and Adventure.

Priced at P58,900, the Philippine-retailed Honda Navi is available in the following color options:

• Ranger Green R
• Patriot Red
• Black
• Shasta White

Those who want to have first dibs on the new ride may have its for the introductory price of P55,900.
