MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has rolled out the all-new Outlander plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).

Powertrain
Under the hood of the Outlander PHEV is a 2.4-liter gasoline MIVEC engine paired with a dual-motor setup (front and rear). This also goes together with the Japanese car maker’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system.

This considerable amount of power and pull goes together with a combined driving range of almost 1,000 kilometers (km), as well as an electric-only range of 100 km. Charging the model, meanwhile, can be done via an alternating current (AC) port with a provided AC plug.
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV's added performance and efficiency are ensured by an intelligent system that can automatically transition between all-electric driving and gasoline power.
