Arai’s previous role before being appointed as HCPI’s new president was Chief Administrator of the Business Planning Department at Honda’s global headquarters in Japan.The Japanese automaker’s local distributor said that Arai will replace outgoing president Rie Miyake after three years of leading the company.
The incoming chief will enter the country with nearly two decades of experience under his belt. Prior to his new post, Arai was the Chief Administrator of the Business Planning Department at Honda’s global headquarters in Japan, following significant tenures at American Honda Motor Company, Incorporated, and the Saitama Factory.
On the other hand, his predecessor has been given a new role at the headquarters effective April 1. It can be recalled that it was Miyake who provided the drumroll for the upcoming all-new Prelude.
