Hardworking and dependable, the HD65 has been an industry stalwart helping the Filipino people with various business mobility requirements.

Thanks to its heat-treated, web-strengthened, ultra-rigid superframe, the HD65 can make light work of heavy duties. According to the South Korean carmaker, the steel frame of the vehicle has been made extra strong using cross members and new bolt-type fasteners. These create improved resistance to frame twisting and flexing which impedes the acceleration of wear and tear.

Optimized for hard work, the HD65 is fitted with a Euro 4-compliant D4GA direct-injection diesel engine with a turbocharger and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It produces a maximum power output of 147hp and 578Nm of torque.

The cab tilts at a 50-degree angle which makes servicing the vehicle easier and allows access to the engine compartment.

Having been turned into a food truck, the HD65 shows its unparalleled versatility and dependability allowing various upper body customizations to fit various needs.

“We are grateful for the support that we’re receiving from government and private sectors that see our line-up of commercial vehicles as key to moving their programs in the hope of a better normal. And in response, we, at Hyundai Trucks and Buses Philippines, shall continue our mission to be a partner in every way, through durable, versatile, and affordable commercial vehicles backed by excellent service, so that our kababayans can focus on what’s truly important — rebuilding the economy and enriching lives,” said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.
