Geely Palawan now ready to serve clients

Sojitz G Auto Philippines Corporation (SGAP) announced the opening of its dealership in Palawan, expanding Geely’s number of sales facilities locally to 33.

In an announcement, the Chinese automaker’s local arm said that establishing its latest dealer in the MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon Palawan) region serves as the marque’s continuing commitment to reach out to more Filipino customers and experience the advanced and exciting vehicles it has to offer.

“With the opening of Geely Palawan, we aim to capture the hearts of the buyers of this beautiful coastal city which is popular to both foreign and local tourists.  We are truly delighted to have gained another business partner, Auto Artist Incorporated, whose owners share the passion and confidence in bringing and representing the Geely brand in Palawan.  As we are just celebrating our 3rd anniversary this month, we are currently above and beyond what we had expected. And we owe everything that we have achieved to our business partners who have been trusting us since we started,” SGAP President and Chief Executive Yugo Kiyofuji was quoted as saying.

Strategically-located along North National Highway, in Barangay San Jose, Puerto Princesa City, the newly-inaugurated Geely Palawan dealership is 1,113-square meters big, with a showroom area that can display 4-6 units and service area that houses six bays. It is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

Since its relaunch in 2019, Geely has become one of the fastest-growing car brands in the Philippines. In less than three years, SGAP has rolled out 10,000 vehicles to customers. Its sales accumulated to 6,199 units during the last eight months and has already exceeded last year’s sales for the whole 12 months.

Further, its newest highest monthly sales was achieved last month when the company sold 1,058 units — surpassing the previous milestone of 1,036 examples sold that was attained in March 2022.

“It is a clear testament that the brand is going from strength to strength, well accepted in the Philippines market,” SGAP shared.
