GWM releases Poer Kingkong

Great Wall Motor (GWM) has recently unleashed the latest beast in its stable, the Poer Kingkong.

In a statement, the Chinese automotive brand conducted the vehicle’s debut (which was seemingly coined from the fictional giant gorilla) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, GWM said that the latest vehicle sports an upgraded design and performance.

On the outside, the GWM Poer Kingkong wears a large grille, newly-styled headlamps, and more three-dimensional lines that create a dynamic visual effect.

The power of the GWM Poer Kingkong comes from a 2.0T engine that is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Per GWM, the mill is both efficient and reliable, “which can meet the driving needs of consumers under different road conditions.”

Meanwhile, the Poer Kingkong is expected to be launched in multiple markets within the year.

To note, pick-up trucks are GWM’s earliest models that were offered to the international market. More than two million GWM trucks have been sold worldwide.

Relatedly, GWM vowed to constantly create smarter and safer models and will continue to expand the product lineup in the global market.
