The India-headquartered motorcycle brand’s expansion in the region — made in collaboration with Columbian Autocar Group’s Terrafirma Motors Corporation (TMC) — was formally announced last August in the company’s facility in Laguna.

The formal unveiling came around nearly two years after its reported arrival in the country in 2022.

Hero Motocorp (which boasts over 100-million customer base covering more than 40 countries around the world across Asia, Africa, Europe, as well as South and Central America) serves as the TMC’s first foray in the two-wheel market.

During the local brand launch, the company — led by Chairman Emeritus Palawan Rep. Jose Alvarez, and company president Felix Mabilog, Jr. — unveiled Hero MotoCorp’s first three models that will be retailed in the country: the Xoom 110, Hunk 160R 4V, and Xpulse 200 4V.
