Hino PH, J&T Express renew partnership

Hino Motor Philippines (HMP) announced that it has renewed its strategic partnership with  J&T Express (PH Global Jet Express Inc.).

In a statement, the truck manufacturer’s local arm said that the new contract with the courier company (signed last July 6 at HMP Headquarters in Calamba, Laguna) involved more than a hundred Hino units made up of XZU730L, XZU710L and FL8J models.

The ceremony was attended by J&T Express Chief Executive Officer Dean Ding, HMP Chairman Vicente Mills, HMP President Mitsuharu Tabata and Hino Motors Paranaque President Edward Tan.

HMP shared that the company has served more than 320 units of J&T Express’ truck requirements to date. “Hino’s Total Support philosophy fosters this partnership providing the unique advantage of holistic mobility service beginning from quality automotive products to reliable after sales service including trainings and technical support,” the firm shared.

“We at Hino Motors Philippines are very proud of this collaboration. With J&T Express being a leader in the logistics industry, we understand that your business has no room for downtime and having the right vehicle to accomplish your services is important. We would like to thank you for choosing the Hino brand for the third year in a row,” the HMP president was quoted as saying.      

Meanwhile, J&T Express is eyeing to further enhance its operations for 2022 as they target to reach more customers.

“In the past three years especially during the pandemic, Hino has guaranteed our after sales service and new truck production capabilities to support our company’s delivery business. In the end, I’d like to borrow our company’s brand slogan, Hino and J&T Express, ‘Be Together, Better Future’,” J&T Express Procurement Director Arron Wang noted.
