Honda hits 12-M moto sales milestone in PH

MANILA: Honda Philippines Incorporated (HPI) has breached the 12-million-unit sales milestone.

According to the country’s leading motorcycle distributor, the achievement—reached last April 30—shows its sustained growth in the market, driven by strong customer trust as well as “consistent delivery of high-quality, reliable, and accessible mobility solutions for Filipinos.”

“The 12-million-unit milestone stands as a shared achievement between HPI and its community of Riders, Dealers, Partners, and Associates who have contributed to the brand’s journey over the years. It highlights not only HPI’s strong market performance but also the continued confidence of Filipino Customers who rely on Honda motorcycles for daily mobility, livelihood, and personal pursuits,” the company noted.

Spearheading the charge towards the milestone was the Honda Click125. The brand’s top selling model locally, this offering provides customers high fuel efficiency as well notable features, and a modern styling.

The newest company milestone was hit a month after the merger between HPI and Honda Parts Manufacturing Corporation (HPMC) took effect.

To recall, HPI reached the 10-million retail milestone in 2024. Back then, the company produced a commemorative example that had a 10M sticker.

The Honda Click125 is propelled by a four-stroke, two valve, single overhead cam, liquid-cooled, 125 cubic centimeter engine with enhanced smart power technology and mated to a continuously variable transmission. This setup has the capacity to dish out:

Gasoline is fed to the mill via Honda’s proprietary programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI) system.
