Honda PH rider finishes 11th in 2024 IATC Round 4

Honda Philippines Incorporated (HPI) rider Alfonsi Daquigan finished in the 11th spot in Round 4 of the 2024 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) in Japan.

Staged at the renowned Mobility Resort Motegi, Daquigan managed to bounce back after suffering a setback in Race 1.

Per HPI, the #22 racer encountered a collision with another rider towards the final lap of Race 1. That said, he did not finish the race and had to begin Race 2 in the 13th position. Nevertheless, Daquigan persevered and claimed the 11th spot after the dust settled.

“I believe every competition is about the lessons learned, the challenges overcome, and the personal growth achieved with every competition. Each race, whether a victory or a tough battle, is part of my journey to becoming not only a better racer but a well-rounded athlete,” Daquigan — who rode an ATC-liveried Honda NSF250R Moto3, like his fellow racers — said.
