Isuzu PH donates P250K to NMMC

IPC donation to NMMC

As part of its 25th inaugural anniversary celebration, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has donated P250,000 to Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC).

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What was the P250,000 donation for?

IPC donated the aforementioned amount as part of its thrusts toward its drive to sustainability.
  • Who helped IPC reach out to NMMC?

Isuzu Cagayan de Oro, managed by the Northern Mindanao Automotive Dealership Inc. (NMADI) group, assisted IPC in coordinating with NMMC.
  • In a statement, the Japanese vehicle manufacturer’s local arm said that the support given was one of the company’s thrusts toward its drive to sustainability.

The IPC team— led by Administration Division Head Imelda Bernas and Sales Assistant Division Head Robert Carlos— went to Cagayan De Oro to deliver the amount.

The state-managed hospital serves patients from Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental where it is located as well as to those residing in nearby provinces of Bukidnon, Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Lanao Norte, Zamboanga del Norte and the Agusan provinces.

IPC is expecting that the donation will be utilized for the hospital’s continuous expansion to cater to the medical needs of more patients from the region.

The donation for Mindanao region was made possible because of Isuzu Cagayan De Oro, who assisted IPC in coordinating with NMMC.

Isuzu Cagayan De Oro is under the Northern Mindanao Automotive Dealership Inc. (NMADI) group, which operates three more Isuzu outlets in Mindanao – Butuan, Dipolog, and Pagadian. Isuzu Cagayan De Oro is also one of the brand’s 12 pioneer sales facilities.

In line with its Road to Progress vision, IPC will continue with the corporate social responsibility initiative by donating to three more hospitals – one from the National Capital Region, one from Luzon, and one from Visayas before the year ends.

“This CSR project is yet another testament that IPC continues to live up to their tagline ‘Your Responsible Partner’,” IPC explained.
