MG TRQ-L launched, priced from P1.248-M

MANILA: Morris Garages (MG) Philippines has officially unleashed the TRQ-L with a base price of P1.248 million.

The newest addition to the SAIC-owned car manufacturer’s stable in the country effectively gives the company a contender in the pickup segment and offers yet another option for buyers on the market for a lifestyle truck. 

Power comes from a 2.0-liter diesel engine mated to either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.

Stopping power is facilitated by disc brakes — front and back — while it uses a double wishbone suspension at the fore and a leaf spring setup at the rear. The former ensures ample halting and deceleration, while the latter allows the pickup truck to enjoy a payload capacity of up to 1,055 kilograms. 

Outside, the MG TRQ-L packs the below appointments:

MG TRQ-L 4X2 AT	P1.338 million
MG TRQ-L 4X2 MT	P1.248 million

A special introductory price has been announced by the brand, slashing the price of the pickup truck — until further notice. 

MG TRQ-L 4X2 AT	P1.318 million
MG TRQ-L 4X2 MT	P1.198 million

Further, the first 200 buyers of the MG TRQ-L will receive free upgrades:
