Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced that the Xpander posted a 62-percent increase in last June sales volume over May this year.
In a statement, the top-selling seven-seater MPV, which has been recognized locally by several award-giving bodies for its practicality and style, has delivered 794 units last month. This makes the Xpander continue its streak to be one of the best-selling nameplates for the Japanese automaker's local distributor.
In June, MMPC sold 2,933 units for the whole month, and has continued to be the second best-selling vehicle brand in the Philippine automotive industry after having 19,858 vehicles rolled out to clients for the whole first half of 2021.
In a statement, MMPC’s newly-appointed President and Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hara expressed its gratitude over the continued patronage of customers to the brand.
“We are very fortunate to receive such strong support from the market. We truly appreciate the trust and confidence that they show for our brand. We are also thankful for the amazing efforts that our dealer partners are making to reinforce the strong number two position of Mitsubishi Motors. Our customers can trust that MMPC is committed to reciprocate the strong patronage by providing dedicated customer service,” Hara said.
Further, MMPC reminded the public to take advantage of the Downpour Deals Promo until July 31, 2021. Aside from the Xpander, the said promo also covers easy ownership plans for the Mirage G4, Strada, Montero Sport, and L300.
