Ssangyong Motor United Kingdom (UK) announced that it has introduced a new variant of the Musso pickup truck in the region.
Dubbed the Ssangyong Musso Saracen+, the new variant offers a longer truck bed allowing its would-be owners to carry more load.
The truck bed, Ssangyong Motor UK explained, is 12 inches longer compared to those of the existing variants of the Musso nameplate in the UK, namely the EX, Rebel, and Saracen.
Additionally, the automotive brand also pointed out that the truck bed is plastic-lined with a sturdy rear tailgate.
On top of the added cargo capacity, Ssangyong also gave the Musso Saracen+ mild exterior updates such as side mirrors, a belt line, and a tailgate finisher — all finished in black.
SsangYong also gave the new Musso truck variant a set of 18-inch black alloy wheels wrapped in 255/60 wide tires, further increasing its road presence.
Powering the Ssangyong Musso Saracen+ (as well as all the Musso variants) is the marque’s e-XDi220 engine mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
This setup, according to Ssangyong, puts out as much as 199 horsepower with 441 Newton-meters of torque.
The Ssangyong Musso Saracen+ is priced at £33,790 ( around P2.293 million).
