GAC Motor PH sales double for Sep. 2024 YTD

GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company) Motor Philippines sold 2,511 units for the first three quarters of 2024.

Based on the joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated and Truck Manufacturers Association, the aforementioned sales volume showed a 105.8-percent growth versus the 1,220 vehicles that the participating companies rolled out to buyers for the same timeframe last year.

Such output also allowed the brand’s local distributor to secure the position of being the second best-selling marque in the passenger car segment.

Spearheading the Astara-led firm’s sales numbers were the GS3 Emzoom, M6 Pro, and M8. Meanwhile, the GAC Emkoo Hybrid is eyed to boost the company’s appeal to the public.

Other members of the company’s stable include the GAC Empow, Emkoo, and GS8.

Aside from its lineup, GAC Motor Philippines also attributed its retail performance to its growing dealer-network. Currently at 29, the company is targeting to grow the number to 38 by year-end.

Further, GAC Motor Philippines takes pride in the after-sales services that it provides to customers. Each GAC Motor vehicle is packaged with a five-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty as well as the 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for the first year upon purchase.
