MANILA: The Suzuki Fronx has received a five-star rating from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), under the organization’s stricter 2021-2025 protocol.
Per the Japanese carmaker, the crossover — manufactured in Indonesia — achieved “outstanding performance” in all four categories (Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Safety Assist Technologies, and Motorcyclist Safety) used to measure a new car’s safety rating.

Here are some of its notable safety technologies:
The Suzuki Fronx is built on the company’s HEARTECT platform, which the brand noted, was designed with high-rigidity materials that intelligently absorb and disperse impact energy to reduce cabin deformation during collisions.
In addition, the structure is complemented by six airbags that cover the front, side, and curtain areas to surround occupants with all-around protection during unforeseen impacts.
