  • Outside, the 2022 Suzuki S-Cross features a muscular appearance. At the front end are three LED position headlamps flanking a raised hood line and a piano black front grille. On the side are larger and more angular wheel arches and smooth flowing lines. Its rear features larger combination lamps that integrate horizontally with the rear center garnish to emphasize a sense of width.

Power will come from Suzuki’s 1.4-liter Boosterjet turbocharged engine, which offers dynamic and responsive driving performance. The power plant works in conjunction with an Integrated Starter Generator (known as ISG) and a 48V-12V (DC/DC) converter. This creates a mild-hybrid setup with the ISG acting as both a generator and starter motor.

The 2022 Suzuki S-Cross will come in both six-speed manual and six-speed automatic versions.

Interior amenities and safety features vary depending on the variant, which  the compact SUV will have two of.

The Motion trim gives the Euro-spec S-Cross seven airbags, 17-inch painted alloy wheels, three signature LED projector headlamps for low and high beam, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control with speed limiter, keyless entry and start, dual-zone auto air conditioning, heated front seats, and front and rear parking sensors.

On the other hand, the Ultra trim adds 17-inch polished alloy wheels, leather seat upholstery, integrated onboard navigation, panoramic sliding sunroof, four-wheel-drive, and further driver safety and convenience with the fitment of a 360 view camera.

The 2022 Suzuki S-Cross will be available in the UK in January 2022. The manual variant of the Motion trim is priced at £24,999 (around P1.6 million when converted) while its Ultra counterpart comes with a sticker price of £29,799 (around P2 million). Customers looking to get the six-speed automatic models will have to add £1,350.
