The Ford Territory Hybrid’s cabin offers plenty of room for five passengers. There are generous amounts of headroom and legroom both in the first and second rows. The higher trim features perforated leather seats, while the base trim gets the synthetic version. Regardless of the material, this HEV’s seats are pretty well-padded and offer good cushioning and ergonomics for everyone on board. The Ford Territory Hybrid utilizes a suspension combination of a MacPherson Strut at the front and a Multi-Link independent type at the rear. This suspension setup is tuned more for comfort than performance. It is agile to maneuver even through traffic and has decent absorption of bumps and other road imperfections. However, its steering lacks a little bit of response when driving at higher speeds. Hence, it would be best to hit sharp turns or corners with extra precaution. Its gasoline engine produces a power output of 150 PS and a torque of 230 Nm, while the motor generates an electric power of 218 PS and an electric torque of 315 Nm. This HEV’s motor is mated to a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid automatic transmission with a Rotary e-Shifter. It is equipped with three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.
