Hyundai Accent Latest Updates
Hyundai’s subcompact sedan has quite some clout in the Philippines market and the most recent update has only cemented its position even further. It is now longer, with a fastback inspired styling and sharper lines that compliment it very much. The new cascading grille and the sleek angular headlights also add to the car’s stylish presence. It almost looks like a smaller Elantra. The interior is also a more refined place to be. There are two engine options on offer here. The smaller of these is the old 1.4L petrol making 100 PS and 132 Nm of torque. This can be mated to either a five-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The other engine option is a 1.6L CRDI diesel making 128 PS and 260 Nm of torque which can be mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. In all, there are 2 petrol-powered variants and 4 diesel-powered variants. With prices starting from Php 750000 and going up to Php 998000.

Hyundai Accent Review
Hyundai Accent Overview
Sophisticated and dynamic - these are the two perfect words to describe the all-new Hyundai Accent Sedan. Known as a fuel-efficient car for small families, the Hyundai Accent is now in its fifth generation. It was released back in 1994 and has received some touch-ups as new generations were released in 1999, 2005, 2010, and 2017, respectively.
Aside from the handsomeness of this car, it also offers great versatility and variety since you can choose from two engine and transmission options. The look of the new Accent’s Sedan features a new design language that is highlighted with a new headlamp and foglamp shapes which makes it more remarkably alike with its big brother Elantra sedan.
The sharper and more pronounced grille, as well as the illusion of dynamic motion because of the car’s edgy design, are the features that also make the Hyundai Accent stand out among its competitors. South Korean company Hyundai also made sure to improve some things from the inside to make the car economic but still a definite must-have. To name a few prominent features, the Hyundai Accent Sedan includes automatic climate control, a multifunctional steering wheel, and three options for the seat upholstery.
Even though this car doesn’t come with a lot of advanced features that most sedan lovers would want it to have, its super-strong body structure that offers unparalleled protection can be quite a dealbreaker. The car’s critical areas, mostly those parts that are prone to be damaged during a crash, were reinforced with ultra high-tensile strength steel.
Hyundai Accent comes in six variants being the 1.6 CRDi GL 6AT Diesel as the top-spec model which is priced at P 1.04 Million and 1.4 GL 6MT (without airbags) as the entry model being sold for P790,000.
