Hyundai HARI Cab

Upon entering the Hyundai HARI Cab, you are greeted by a cabin that prioritizes functionality and practicality over anything else. Its cockpit comes with an analogue instrument cluster, Hyundai’s signature four-spoke steering wheel with silver accents, and an integrated 2DIN audio unit, which offers USB and auxiliary inputs. Its front cabin offers ample room for the driver and two passengers. Its leather seats offer decent cushioning and ergonomics for everyone on board. 

The HARI Cab also comes with an extended cabin space, providing front-row occupants with a place to secure their personal belongings or other necessary items when hauling cargo or large groups of people. Aside from that, its shuttle trim can also effectively accommodate up to 23 passengers at the back. 

For added convenience, buyers may opt to get an aircon system for their HARI Cab. This light-duty commercial vehicle offers a generous rear cabin cargo space of 1,275 liters for your light to moderate amounts of cargo or personal baggage.

The Hyundai HARI Cab features a no-nonsense exterior design that looks clean and very approachable on the road. At the front, it comes with halogen multi-reflector headlamps that offer good visibility whether you are hauling cargo at night or in rainy weather. This commercial vehicle comes with large rectangular mirrors, which ensure that the driver has maximum view of the road at all times. Additionally, a large Hyundai emblem is placed above its hexagonal grille. 

On the sides, the HARI Cab’s shuttle trim’s door is equipped with an electric closer for easier passenger ingress and egress. This model line runs on robust 16-inch wheels wrapped in radial tyres, which are designed to withstand tough city conditions. In terms of dimensions, the Hyundai HARI Cab model line measures 6,260 mm in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 2,285 mm in height.

In terms of suspension, the Hyundai HARI Cab model line is equipped with semi-elliptic multi-leaf springs with hydraulic, double-acting, telescopic shock absorbers both at the front and rear. It soaks up bumpy, uneven city road conditions quite well. It also offers good stability and composure even at high speeds. For a commercial vehicle, the HARI Cab also handles quite well. While it may not be the most comfortable on long-distance trips, this workhorse can still deliver a pleasant and very pliant riding experience while hauling cargo or transporting people.

The Hyundai HARI Cab model line is powered by a 2.9L, 4-stroke-cycle, water-cooled, direct-injection (Euro 4-compliant) diesel engine with a turbo charger intercooler that produces a maximum power output of 160 PS and a maximum torque output of 392 Nm (40 kg-m). This light-duty commercial vehicle comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission system. 

Its engine offers plenty of torque on tap, allowing this light-duty commercial vehicle to cruise on the highway and take on steep inclines while carrying a heavy load (without an underpowered feeling). It is a capable and reliable hauler out on the open road, yet remains very economical even in constant stop-and-go traffic inside the city. 

The Hyundai HARI Cab model line comes with front and rear exhaust brakes. Its braking setup is supported by Hyundai’s Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) technology designed to deliver optimized brake force distribution depending on the vehicle load. It also comes with a reverse warning buzzer.

In my opinion, the Hyundai HARI Cab remains a solid option in the local light commercial vehicle segment. It provides businesses, fleet operators, and families with reliable and cost-effective hauling capabilities, helping them save more while spending less in the long run.
