A super hybrid
If you are thinking of buying a hybrid sedan in the Philippines for daily commute purposes, then my personal recommendation would be the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid. I have been driving the car for some time now and I love its performance and the overall package. For a commuter sedan, the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid looks really elegant and sporty and definitely gets some attention on the streets. Along with that, the hybrid powertrain is very capable and efficient at the same time. The 1.6L petrol engine is paired with a 1.56 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery and produces a combined power of 104 hp, along with 147 Nm of torque.
