Comfortable, performance SUV
The Hyundai Tucson offers the familiar driving experience of an Asian SUV. The ride quality is sorted. The car strikes a good balance between agility and comfort. The Tucson’s steering wheel is sporty. It turns promptly, is nicely weighted and responsive. This leads to a straight line acceleration that many other similar SUVs lack. The powertrain may not be as brilliant as the Toyota CH-R but the turbocharged engine has plenty of punch because of the various drive modes and the tires. The transmission performs extremely well and the gear change is seamless. It’s a family car that suits weekend trips.
