Lamborghini Aventador Review
Lamborghini Aventador Overview
The Lamborghini Aventador is a dream supercar for a lot of people. It is the ideal car that people picture on the racetrack and in the garage of billionaires around the world. However, this awe-inspiring supercar is a lot more than a fire-breathing sports machine, it is a lifestyle.
The Italian luxury automaker has recently re-opened its production facility post the suspension due to the coronavirus scenes and is said to reveal a new model soon. The PHP 37 million car (base model) has a big and powerful engine under the hood and an extremely efficient aerodynamic design.
It does not have any competitors, considering the price at which it is sold and is more exclusive than Rolls Royce and Bentley.
Lamborghini Aventador Interior
The cabin of the Lamborghini Aventador is futuristic. Being a 2-seater, it does not have a comfort-driven interior but looks very plush and modern. The 3-spoke steering wheel is well padded for optimum grip. The driver’s console that sits behind it is very informative and funky at the same time.
Then comes the centre console, a place that is filled with a lot of buttons and controls for the various functions that the supercar offers. The comfort department is handled by automatic climate control that has the heating feature as well. The seats are height adjustable as well, which makes it comfortable for both tall and short occupants.
Lamborghini Aventador Exterior
The Lamborghini Aventador is a car from the very next level. The design is unforgettably impressive. The car is low slung in design with sharpness all over. The air intakes ate slim and dug into the lower bumper. The rear profile is another gem with LED lighting and an attractive exhaust.
The true masterpiece of the car is proven from the carbon-fibre monocoque, which not only makes the frame sturdy but lightweight as well. The car rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. The front wheels are shod in 255mm tyres while the rear gets thicker 355mm rubbers.
Lamborghini Aventador Ride & Handling
There is absolutely nothing to complain about in the ride quality. The car sits on a low platform and the ground clearance is the same too. So, to maintain the best riding ergonomics, the seats inside the cabin dig very deep and offer a racing car-like feel.
The suspension and low ground clearance mean it is not meant for bad roads within the city. However, take it to a highway and you will love to see how the car excels in the same build. The large wheels and thick tyres ensure that the car is firmly planted on the road, even if the steep is very high.
Lamborghini Aventador Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Lamborghini Aventador is a beast when it comes to performance. The engine under the hood of the supercar has a 6.5-litre capacity with 12 cylinders. This setup manes to produce a maximum power of 700 hp at 8,250 rpm, along with a peak torque of 690 Nm, which comes at just 5,500 rpm.
The produced power is transferred to all the wheels via an AWD drivetrain. The 7-speed automatic transmission ensures that you don’t have to struggle with the stick why drifting along the racetrack.
Lamborghini Aventador Braking & Safety
Being one of the most expensive and powerful cars in the world, the Lamborghini Aventador deserves to have a lot of safety features. And guess what, it does not disappoint in this field either.
To start with, the large disc brakes have come along with ABS and electronic brakeforce distribution by default. Along with that, Drive Select Mode and Electronic Stability Programme also make it to the safety equipment list.
Despite being a 2-seater, the Aventador has an airbag each for the driver and passenger, along with the same for the sides and curtain.
Lamborghini Aventador Verdict
The Lamborghini Aventador is presently one of the most expensive supercars in the Philippines, much more than the Rolls Royce and Bentley. However, it is no muggle with the features and engine capacity. So, even if you pay such a high price for the car or any of the other siblings, the value you get makes it a great buy.
