The LC’s interior is nothing short of luxurious, with a tastefully designed driver-centric cockpit that focuses on ergonomic comfort and ease of access. The touchpad mainstay of the earlier models has been replaced by a more user-friendly touchscreen instrument cluster and infotainment system, all optimally oriented for easy visibility. It also comes with an all-new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system (from the original 10.3-inch one) and is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The LC 500 lives up to its touring reputation with an Adaptive Variable Suspension that allows for smooth, comfortable rides even over rough roads. The driver-centric seats are quite comfortable and intended to maximize comfort for long cruising. The LC also benefits from precise and highly responsive steering and a well-balanced chassis. As an added bonus, it even comes with a Drive Mode Select system that allows the driver to customize the LC’s driving characteristics to suit individual preferences or road quality. 

Both the LC 500 and LC 500 Convertible variant comes with a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine and a 10-speed Direct-Shift rear-wheel drive automatic transmission, capable of 471 hp at 397 Nm of torque. 

The LC comes with Lexus’ own in-house Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 suite, with features such as pedestrian and bicycle detection, All-Speed Dynamic Radar, lane alerts, intuitive automated parking assistance, and a collapsible steering column. Its overall build is also guaranteed to absorb and distribute impact energy evenly in the event of a collision. The LC also comes with all of the standard passive safety accouterments.
