Inside, the Lexus LS comes with a classy, well-built cabin that features traditional Japanese kiriko glass art ornamentation and plush semi-aniline leather seats. Up front, the driver gets an 8-inch TFT LCD meter, wood-and-leather steering wheel with multiple switches and a paddle shifter, and an artificial intelligence shift.

For entertainment and information accessibility, this luxury sedan is fitted with a Miracast-supported 12.3-inch EMV (Electro Multi-Vision) touch display that offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and smartphone linking. The Lexus LS 500h’s exterior design strikes a balance between assertiveness and sophistication. It looks classic and modern at the same time, embodying Lexus’ mastery of creating timeless designs. Up front, it features a blue Lexus badge on its spindle grille, emphasizing its electrified personality. Its confident front end is flanked by 3 bi-beam LED headlamps with LED sequential turn signals and scythe-like LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Underneath, the curved contours on its bumper add more detail to its overall appearance. 

On the sides, it features two-tone aspherical power mirrors with integrated turn lamps and a memory function. This luxury sedan is fitted with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in runflat tyres. And, for a more premium touch, it gets chrome accents on its pillars and side skirts.

Meanwhile, its rear end is illuminated by modern-looking LED combination lamps with a sharp boomerang-like shape. It is also equipped with rear fog lamps for enhanced visibility, especially at night. In terms of dimensions, the Lexus LS 500h measures 5,235 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,450 mm in height. This luxury sedan also comes with a 3,125-mm wheelbase and a 147-mm ground clearance.

The Lexus LS 500h comes with a front and rear Multi-Link suspension setup (high-mounted at the front), which is supported by adaptive variable suspension technology. This advanced setup is credited with this luxury sedan’s supple and very pliant both in the city and on the highway. It may not be the sportiest through twists and turns, but it remains agile enough to handle Metro Manila’s roads with ease.

The Lexus LS 500h is powered by a hybrid system that combines a 3.5L V6 gasoline engine, which delivers 299 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of maximum torque, with an electric motor, resulting in a combined power output of 354 hp. This luxury sedan runs on Lexus’ Multi-Stage Hybrid transmission, which functions like a 10-speed dual-clutch transmission system, and utilizes a rear-wheel drivetrain. It is also equipped with six driving modes: Normal, Eco, Comfort, Sport S, Sport S+, and Custom.

While it may not be the fastest in its segment, the 500h still feels very peppy off the line. Its transmission is smooth and responsive, enhancing the driver’s overall performance on the highway. Additionally, it also delivers impressive fuel economy for a vehicle that is equipped with a V6 engine.

The Lexus LS 500h is equipped with the brand’s Safety Sense technology consisting of a pre-collision system, an adaptive high beam system, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert, dynamic radar cruise control, a blind spot monitoring system, and rear cross traffic alert, among others.

Additionally, its front and rear disc brakes are supported by an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, hill-start assist control with a brake hold, and vehicle stability control with traction control.
