Nissan KICKS E-POWER Overview
Before EVs became a norm in the local market, Nissan Philippines introduced a vehicle that combines an EV-like driving experience and efficiency with a gasoline charging system and that is the Nissan Kicks e-POWER. This subcompact SUV is equipped with the brand’s “e-POWER”, a 100% electric motor-driven system that utilizes an electric motor to power the wheels and, at the same time, a gasoline engine that generates power to charge the electric motor’s battery when necessary. This car offers a very enjoyable cruising experience that you would get from an all-electric vehicle without experiencing range anxiety. The Nissan Kicks e-POWER is available in three variants - e-POWER EL priced at ₱1.179 million, e-POWER VE priced at ₱1.279 million, and e-POWER VL priced at ₱1.479 million. Nissan KICKS E-POWER Interior
Inside, the Nissan Kicks e-POWER showcases a minimalistic cabin layout that looks and feels premium for its price point. It has zero gravity seats that provide just the right level of cushioning for all passengers. Seats of the top variant come with genuine leather upholstery with double stitching for a more expensive feel, while the lower trims’ come with fabric upholstery with single stitching. Standard to all variants is a black synthetic leather dashboard with grey stitching as well as a center console armrest with black leather padding and a storage box. That said, its cabin features a right balance of hard plastics and soft-touch materials. Its rear space, however, could still be improved moving forward.
Aside from these, its cockpit provides the driver with a 7-inch color TFT display meter with a drive computer display, allowing him or her to accurately monitor one’s current driving conditions. Drivers of the top and mid variants have access to a leather-wrapped steering wheel with manual tilt and telescopic adjustment features, while drivers of the base variant get the urethane-wrapped version.
