It gives you a maximum output of 265 hp at 6700 rpm with a peak torque of 280 Nm within 4500 - 6500 rpm. VarioCam Plus and Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) Technologies achieved the precise combustion process at all speeds. 

Apart from this, the engine gives a decent mileage of 7.9 Litres / 100 km, all thanks to the DFI and thermal management system. The PKD transmission shoots the car from 0 to 100 kmph at 5.7 seconds and just 5.5 seconds in the Sports + mode. 

Porsche 718 may be concentrating more on speed, but it does not compromise safety. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management System, which manages oversteer and understeer by accumulating information from the velocity and acceleration sensors. This system even applies Anti-Slip Regulation Control with Automatic Brake Differential for better handling of the car. Other safety features include Anti-Theft Protection, Drag Torque Control, and Roll Overprotection. 

The braking system of the car employs four-wheel ventilated disc brakes or optional ceramic composite disc brakes. These are assisted by Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Anti-lock Braking System for a smooth performance.
