The 2025 Benelli Leoncino 800 gets all-around LED lighting. The oval headlamp with the daytime running light (DRL) ring or arc-surround is the visual centrepiece. The sculpted fuel tank gets muscular bulges and flat-type side parts so that the rider gets decent knee grip. Most body panels are simple and functional rather than heavily styled plastic cladding. The bike gets a single, stubby upswept exhaust on one side that’s relatively visible. This adds to visual bulk and style. The 2025 Benelli Leoncino 800 is mounted on a steel trellis frame which is part of the styling.  It’s painted black, with visible welds and junctions. The swingarm and underbody parts are exposed. There’s no big fairing to hide everything. The wide handlebars give good leverage. The handlebar-reach is balanced for an upright riding posture. The 2025 Benelli Leoncino 800 runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with road-oriented grip-friendly tyres. Handling is good, courtesy wide handlebars, good leverage, and a reasonable weight. The bike turns corners with decent agility for a naked bike of its size. On twisty roads the ride feels planted.

The 2025 Benelli Leoncino 800 is hauled by a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, 754cc engine that produces 80 PS/67 Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission. On city roads, the powertrain is tractable. It handles start-stop traffic well. Low-end pull is decent but needs active change of gears because the bike lacks punch at low rpm. Acceleration off the line is smooth. But it’s a bit tempered by weight. The bike is an able highway cruiser. Cruising at 110-130 kmph is a comfortable experience. Vibration is manageable. Power delivery remains strong up to higher revs. The 2025 Benelli Leoncino 800 can reach a top speed of 230 kmph that’s rarely required. The bike returns a mileage of around 18 kmpl under mixed conditions.

The 2025 Benelli Leoncino 800 is equipped with dual 320mm front disc brakes, paired with Brembo radial calipers and a 260mm rear disc brake that ensures excellent braking. Antilock braking comes as standard. It enhances safety during emergency braking and on slippery roads.
