Honda ADV 350

The Honda ADV350 features a very stylish, youthful design. It looks like a more subtle X-ADV but a sportier version of the ADV160. It has an aggressive facade illuminated by sharp-looking LED headlights with an auto-winker cancellation. Similar to other newer-gen Honda bikes, this adventure scooter also comes with a 5-inch full color TFT meter panel that is equipped with a Honda RoadSync, helping riders perform at their best while on the road. 

It has a very supportive and well-padded saddle, which has the ability to make long-distance trips enjoyable and bearable (depending on your mood). However, its seat is a bit high for the average Filipino rider, which might compromise his or her comfort level when passing through traffic at low speeds. But, on the plus side, it comes with a nicely-positioned rigid-mount tapered handlebar, wide foot boards, and a very generous 48L U-box with a seat stopper and light. It also has an in-console box with a USB Type-C charger.

Moreover, it has a very sporty side profile accentuated by muscular fairings and metal finishes. It comes with side grab bars for an enhanced passenger convenience. It runs on a very appealing pair of ‘adventure look’ cast wheels finished in gold: 15-inch at the front and 14-inch at the rear. Meanwhile, it also has a confident hindlook courtesy of a sporty-looking LED taillight. 

In terms of dimensions, the Honda ADV350 measures 2,200 mm in length, 895 mm in width, and 1,430 mm in height. It has a 1,518 mm wheelbase and a 155 mm ground clearance, which allows it to take on light off-road trails.

In terms of suspension, the Honda ADV350 utilizes an Inverted Telescopic Fork at the front and a Twin Shock with Subtank at the rear. This suspension setup allows this scooter to effectively take on light off-road terrains out of town. In the city, it absorbs bumps and uneven concrete pavements pretty well. And, on winding roads, you will be able to hit turns or corners with precision (even at high speeds). Overall, the ADV350 boasts a very rider-friendly maneuverability and a reliable handling on unpleasant roads or paths.

The Honda ADV350 is powered by a 330 cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, eSP+ engine that has a maximum power output of 21.5 kW and a maximum torque of 31.8 Nm. It runs on a V-Matic (automatic) transmission. 

This adventure scooter’s engine delivers a nice pull on the open road, allowing the rider to overtake slower vehicles effectively. For a scooter, it is surprisingly quick and punchy. Additionally, it can also handle steep roads without any problem. And, thanks to its impressive fuel economy and an innovative ‘Idling Stop System’ (ISS), it would be a practical daily rider in the city.

In terms of safety, the Honda ADV350 is very well-equipped. It comes with a 4-level adjustable windscreen at the front and an emergency stop signal at the rear. Its hydraulic disc brakes are supported by a 2-channel anti-lock braking system. That said, its braking setup is very reliable and responsive no matter where you pass through. 

The Honda ADV350 offers a sweet spot for riders who are looking for a very versatile bike that is easy and lightweight to handle yet visually-assertive and capable on the road. This bike masterfully combines a scooter’s agile maneuverability and efficiency with an impressive performance and handling that resemble that of big sport bikes.
