Honda X-ADV Overview
The Honda X-ADV is a rather unique product in the Japanese manufacturer’s portfolio. It lies between a maxi-scooter and an adventure motorcycle. The Honda X-ADV was launched as a crossover two-wheeler that combines the practicality and comfort of a scooter with the rugged versatility of an adventure bike.

Honda X-ADV Design
The Honda X-ADV gets dual LED projector headlights, along with bright daytime running lights (DRLs) that create a sharp and commanding fascia. The turn signals are discretely integrated within the DRL cluster. This lends the front-end a clean, high-tech look. The fairing’s design is aggressively sculpted with crisp angles like origami styling that reinforce the two-wheeler’s rugged, adventure-ready persona. The windscreen gets a three-stage adjustability function. It’s operable by hand, enabling on-the-go tweaks without tools. The wide handlebar ensures better ergonomics and visibility.
The Honda X-ADV is built on a tubular steel frame that provides a roomy under-seat area with a slim rear profile. Under the seat there’s a 22-liter compartment that’s spacious enough for a full-face helmet. It gets a USB-C charging port. A glovebox provides additional storage. The central stand gets a tilt sensor that allow riders to safely park on inclined surfaces without risk of turning over.
The Honda X-ADV gets a new 5.0-inch full-colour display panel that offers sunlight-readability and multiple interface layouts. It's operated through a backlit four-way switch on the handlebar. The bike is equipped with Honda RoadSync that enables smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, calls, music, and voice control via Bluetooth. The Honda Smart Key system offers keyless operation for ignition. The seat and fuel cap open automatically when the fob is near. The bike runs on 15-inch and 17-inch front and rear wheels respectively.

Honda X-ADV Ride & Handling
The Honda X-ADV gets an upgraded seat with thick urethane padding. The seat has been reshaped to improve ground accessibility and easier operation. The seat’s height of 820mm strikes a middle ground between adventure-bike stature and commuter usability. Riders are positioned upright with their feet forward on broad floorboards. This offers plenty of space to shift riding position but can also lead to fatigue on long trips.
The Honda X-ADV is mounted on 41mm upside-down Showa forks. Adjustment for preload and rebound are available. The rear setup comprises of a Pro-Link monoshock with 150mm of travel and preload adjustability. The travel suspension softens bumps and thuds and irons out rough urban roads. The front fork damping maintains stability during braking and acceleration. The steering leans more towards a sports-touring feel, but is still nimble for city navigation. The soft spring makes city riding pleasant but rough surfaces transmit some feedback through the seat and handlebars. The handlebar positioning and seat design are a bit restrictive for off-road use.

Honda X-ADV Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Honda X-ADV is hauled by a liquid-cooled, two-cylinder, 745cc engine that produces 57PS/69Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. On urban roads, the bike feels agile and responsive, aided by smooth transmission that ensures effortless start-stop riding. On highways, the Honda X-ADV performs as an able cruiser, producing stable acceleration even at a high speed. The refined power delivery ensures comfortable long-distance rides. The bike returns fuel efficiency of 28kmpl which is among the best in class.
-
Honda X-ADV Braking & Safety
The Honda X-ADV is equipped with a robust braking system. It gets dual-front 296mm disc brake with radial-mount four-piston callipers and a 240mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel antilock braking system (ABS). The X-ADV comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that provides enhanced traction and ride modes for adaptability. These systems combined, provide superb stability and rider confidence. The sturdy suspension and wide tires complement the braking, while the steel frame ensures rigidity.

Honda X-ADV Verdict
At a starting price of ₱839,000, the Honda X-ADV is among the most expensive two-wheelers compared to its rivals. The two-wheeler stands out as a bold crossover. It delivers practicality with genuine off-road ability. The solid build quality makes it versatile for city commuting and long trips alike. The tall seat height may challenge shorter riders. But the Honda X-ADV manages to offer comfort, performance, and style.
