Foton EST-M

My first run with the Foton Est-M was while making a refrigerated delivery from Pasay to Baguio. Its Cummins ISG 12-liter engine pushing around 430 hp seamlessly handled the ascent along the Kennon Road without overheating even by a bit. What’s more, the Eaton 12-speed transmission generates a smooth shift, especially as I applied downhill brakes. Inside the cabin, the air suspension seat reduces driver fatigue, especially during the long SLEX and TPLEX drives. I also appreciate the multifunctional display that shows fuel consumption in real-time, around 3.5 km per liter with full load. The only downside is that the truck feels quite bouncy when ridden in empty conditions.
