Compared to the standard Foton Etx, the Etx-N is more refined, making limestone hauls from Rizal quarries to Manila seamless. The upgraded Weichai WP10 engine generates approximately 380 hp, with an average fuel consumption of 3 km per liter. On the other hand, the strong torque makes steep, rocky ascents pretty manageable. Its multi-leaf rear suspension has been improved to ensure the weight gets distributed evenly and in a better way, thereby reducing chassis stress. I truly like the electronic braking system with the exhaust brake— truly helpful while descending the Antipolo zigzag roads while carrying the full load. But the dashboard plastics form scratches easily and feel pretty low-grade.
