Perfect for provincial Manilla road deliveries
I have been using the Fuso Canter-FG83 for three months now to make hardware deliveries in La Trinidad and Baguio. Its 4M50-3AT4 engine produces a mere delivery power of 150 hp. However, the 4x4 drivetrain makes it a beast on muddy, steep Barangay roads. The turning radius is pretty tight, perfect for small town access roads and crowded streets. What truly left me awestruck is the smooth, seamless shifts produced by the 5-speed transmission system. Its clutch is also quite light for such a heavy-duty truck. Fuel efficiency averages around 5 to 6 Km per liter, which is quite affordable for full load deliveries in the Philippines. The only complain I have is about the cabin that feels quite cramped for tall drivers like me.
