Hino 300 Series

Although it was a brief encounter, I think this newly launched Hino truck is made just for Malaysian logistic industry. Reinforced with a 4L diesel engine, it delivers an excellent torque that make traversing along uphill Genting or Cameron Highland routes effortless. The cabin design is filled with ergonomic features, be it the relaxing captain seat or the wide-view angles that offer an excellent visibility. For me, what stood out the most was the braking response— it felt safe and stable even under heavy loads. If I’m asked to point out one flaw, it would be the infotainment system that felt a bit outdated compared to the futuristic cabin design,
