2015 Hyundai Lateral Drift goes to Philippine Arena
The smell of burnt rubber and screeching tires are some of the highlights that will be seen at the most adrenaline-pumped drifting event of the year—the 2015 Hyundai Lateral Drift Championship series.
Held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, the event will be the biggest venue in the drifting competition. This is the first time that the annual drifting event will be held inside the “largest indoor stadium in the world” alongside other motorport disciplines under what its organizers, Tradeshow International and Maligaya Development Corp., dubbed as an “all wheels show.” The lateral drift is set on the Zone 2 of the Philippine Arena grounds. The program for the drifting event starts at 12:00 noon with the Amateur series and at 3:00 p.m.it will be the Pro Division’s time to showcase their skills. The same schedule will be followed for both racing days and follows a back to back rounds format.
