2023 Singapore Motor Show 'successful'

The Singapore Motor Show is one of the most-anticipated motoring events in the South East Asian region and its return proved to be a successful feat, said the organizers.

This year’s show saw around 140 vehicles on display from about 26 automotive brands, which included 58 electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid electrified vehicles.

Further, precision driver Russ Swift wowed fans with his heart-pounding automotive stunts.

Additionally, visitors at the Singapore Motor Show had the opportunity to meet local celebrities like Richie Koh, He Ying Ying, Pierre Png, Ya Hui, Bryan Wong, Elvin Ng, and Kym Ng.

The winner of this year’s event was also announced, who took home a Nissan Kicks e-Power Premium worth US$76,800 (P4.218 million).

“This year's Motorshow placed an emphasis on going green with more than 50 EVs and electrified vehicles on display in addition to the various model launches. This signifies how electrified vehicles are now gaining wider acceptance as Singapore gears towards a greener and more sustainable future,” said Motor Traders Association (MTA) President Glenn Tan.
